Terms of service

About Cappih

Cappih helps people record Payments, split Expenses across Groups, and compare monthly Spend with a Budget. It does not hold money, transfer funds, connect to your bank, or settle debts between Members.

The service is operated by cappih.com. The effective date of these terms remains to be confirmed.

Signing in and using the service

Sign in to create or join a Group. Keep your sign-in credentials secure and use the service only for information you are authorized to enter and share.

Do not use Cappih for unlawful activity, attempt to access someone else's Groups without permission, or interfere with the service. An internet connection is required to view and save information.

Groups and shared information

The Person who creates a Group is its Owner. The Owner manages Invite links, Members, and Categories, and can transfer ownership or delete the Group. Any Member can set the monthly Budget and log Payments.

Invite links allow signed-in people to join. Share them only with intended Members. New Members see Expenses from when they join, plus the current Remaining. Group membership does not grant access to other Groups.

Your Payments and Budgets

You are responsible for the amounts and Categories you enter. Cappih calculates Remaining from the recorded Budget and Spend; it cannot verify that entries match your real-world finances. Check your records before making spending decisions.

A Payer can edit or delete their Payment. A Group Owner can also manage Payments in that Group. Changes to a split Payment affect its associated Expenses. Remaining can become negative, and Cappih does not prevent further logging.

Leaving and deleting Groups

Members can leave a Group in its Settings. Their Expenses stay, and they lose access. An Owner must transfer ownership before leaving or choose to delete the Group.

Deleting a Group removes it for its Members. Deleting a shared record is not the same as deleting all information associated with your sign-in. See the Privacy policy for the current data controls.

Availability and charges

The service and its features may change. Keep copies of information you need for other purposes. Cappih does not currently provide offline access or offline Payment submission.

Commercial pricing, service commitments, and any paid-plan terms have not been finalized in this draft. The landing page's pricing section will reflect the published plan details when available.

Privacy

The Privacy policy describes sign-in information, shared budget records, and how Member access works. Review it before entering information into a shared Group.

Contact and final terms

A support contact for cappih.com, eligibility requirements, governing law, dispute terms, and the process for notifying people of material changes must be confirmed before these terms are finalized.
