A few things you might be wondering
How sharing, Payments, and your information work in Cappih.
Yes. Create a Group just for yourself. It works the same as a shared Group, and you can invite someone later if you choose.
No. You pay with your own cards, cash, or transfers, then log the Payment in Cappih. The app tracks the spending you enter; it does not hold or transfer money.
Enter the full amount, choose the Groups it belongs to, and assign an amount and Category to each. The amounts must add up to the Payment. Groups in the same Payment must use the same Currency.
New Members see Expenses from the moment they join. They also see the Group's current Remaining, even when it includes spending from before they joined. Joining one Group does not give access to your other Groups.
Remaining becomes negative, so you can see how far over Budget you are. You can keep logging Payments, and any Member can update the monthly Budget.
Each Group has one Currency, chosen when the Group is created. You can have different Groups in different currencies, but Cappih does not convert between them.
Cappih works in mobile browsers and can be added to a supported phone's home screen. You need an internet connection; it does not save Payments offline.
Members can leave from Group settings. Their Expenses stay in the Group, and they lose access. An Owner must transfer ownership to another Member before leaving, or delete the Group.
